We typically acquire large lots of items we don’t necessarilly need to keep for the collection. Many of these lots are “rescues” where we stepped in to save them from being discarded, or otherwise destroyed — sometimes at great expense.
We hold periodic surplus sales at our Larsen, WI warehouse during the year. Items on this page are larger items, or more significant items deserving a larger public reach.
Please contact us if you are interested in purchasing these items. These will generally be pick-up only from either our Larsen, WI warehouse, or our Neenah, WI warehouse. Our “asking” price is shown, but we are flexible — especially if you are purchasing multiple items. Our main goal is for these to end up in a good home, but any proceeds help us recoup our costs in rescuing these items, storing them, and also allows us to continue rescuing and archiving items.
DECWRITER III Teletypes
We have a bunch of DECWRITER III teletypes that we don’t need to keep for the collection. We’ve found homes for some of these already, but need to find homes for more! When testing, most of them worked and some had minor issues, They are in really good physical condition except for yellowing on some. These are all RS-232 units.

SGI Indigo 2’s, INDY’s, and Parts…
We recently acquired a fairly decent amount of SGI Indigo 2’s, a few INDY’s, and lots of parts such as keyboards, mice, stands, etc. Hard drives will not be included on these, as their contents need to be archived. I’ve tested a few of these with positive results. We are trying to end up with one of each to keep for the collection, and would love to find homes for the rest. We may have a monitor or two available as well pending testing.

HP9000 K-Class Machines and Lots of Parts…
We have a bunch of HP9000 K-Class PA-RISC systems available, plus a lot of parts including IO cards, CPU cards, memory, power supplies, etc. We’ve found a home for one of these already. The first one we tested let out some magic smoke. The second one was fine. We suspect some of these will require some work. Models include; K260, K200, K220, and K250. We have plastic case panels for most systems. We also have some external storage arrays as well, including a few AUTORAIDs.
